The team at Jon Anderson Builds Inc. has been building and transfroming homes since 1984. What began with remodels and custom decks has grown into a full-service company specializing in custom home builds, remodels, landscaping and pool construction.
Our experience across each of these areas allows us to take a more complete approach to every project. Rather than coordinating multiple companies, our clients can work with one team from the home itself through the outdoor spaces that surround it.
We have continued to grow by focusing on the things that matter most: quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, clear communication and doing the job right.

Our Team
Jon Anderson
OWNER | FOUNDER
Jon began this journey in the 80s, dedicating himself to constructing not only homes but also the foundation of a loving family.
In the 90s he ventured into the mortgage industry as an Originator, and shortly after, with two partners, started a publication dedicated to the mortgage industry. It was during that time that he realized his true passion lies in building and working for himself.
In 2000, he founded Jon Anderson Builds Inc., channeling his dedication into creating homes and meaningful structures that stand the test of time. The joy of building isn't just about structures. It's about crafting the spaces where families grow and thrive. In 2012, he expanded the vision and scope of Jon Anderson Builds Inc. to include swimming pool design and installation, as well as complete landscape design and installation services. This allows Jon Anderson Builds Inc. to meet all of the needs that clients can bring to them, under one organization.
Fletcher Anderson
VP | CAD Designer | PM
Fletcher has been working with his dad on and off for many years since his freshman year of high school. There were many lessons he learned over the years working with his dad, but the lesson that stands out most is that if it's a job worth doing, then it's a job worth doing well.
After high school, he went to college where he played volleyball for Long Beach State. Following his college graduation, he had the opportunity to travel and play professionally in Europe for two years. Upon his return home, he went into coaching, strength training, and conditioning for athletes.
In 2019, his dad came to him and asked him to join him at Jon Anderson Builds Inc., and he made the rewarding decision to join the team and carry on his family's legacy.
Steve Johnson
DIRECTOR OF DESIGN/ BUILDING SERVICES
Steve has been an independent design builder and consultant for over 55 years in the fields of general contracting, swimming pool design and installation, and landscape design and installation, both in commercial and custom residential projects. This uniquely positions him in the industry to add value to a host of diverse situations.
Steve’s job at JAB Inc. is to greatly enhance the experience of their customers by helping them achieve the best results possible in attaining their hopes and dreams for their project. They want their clients to enjoy their experience while working with their team and building associates. They help clients take ownership of the entire process, from creating the conceptual designs to establishing a budget, and finally through the entire installation phase.
The goal of the team is not only to give clients what they want, but what they deserve. That means the highest quality installation and professional building experience possible while working with the team.
Rachel Mensah
OFFICE MANAGER | PROJECT ACCOUNTANT
After moving back to California from the East Coast in 2006, Rachel joined the team of a brand new landscape construction company in the Almaden area of San Jose. It was there that her experience in the construction industry began and flourished, allowing her to gain invaluable skills that she has used throughout her journey in this industry.
Rachel first crossed paths with Jon Anderson when that landscaping company subcontracted with Jon Anderson Builds Inc. for some of their outdoor structures. Jon's impeccable work stood out to her and left an extremely positive imprint. After 13 years with that company, she moved on to become a project accountant for a thriving commercial HVAC company in the Bay Area, where she spent two years learning about another aspect of the construction industry.
It was in 2020 that she was given the opportunity to work with Jon Anderson Builds Inc. again, but this time as a permanent member of their team.
